Union achieves pay proposal at SEQWater
The Services Union has reached a point in negotiations with Seqwater where we believe we have a Staff Enterprise Agreement (EA) proposal worthy of your consideration.
Seqwater has tabled a comprehensive offer including a pay package to the full extent of the GOC Wages Policy and a Cost-of-Living Adjustment for all three years. The proposal does not require any trade-offs of existing provisions to fund the efficiencies to drive the full pay increase. Our Union will of course analyse the draft EA and change summary (which we are awaiting this at the time of this update) to ensure this is the case before consulting with members.
We have also received assurances from Seqwater that the proposed Managers’ EA will reflect the Staff EA in all but name and pay rates (subject of course to negotiation). Once again, we will carefully review all documentation before agreeing to either draft EA being put to ballot.
