Members decide on pay offer at Sunshine Coast Council
Well done to all members of The Services Union who attended our paid-time meetings at Sunshine Coast Council yesterday and today regarding your new Certified Agreement (CA).
Now is the time to formalise our position on whether to accept the Council’s offer. The offer includes the same pay increases as the Field-Based employees achieved, without the trade-offs your outdoor colleagues had to make.
Congratulations on successfully staring down the Council’s attempt to dilute your existing conditions. Collectively you have achieved an offer of 15% over three years, with back-pay and an $800 sign-on bonus, and without giving away your right to consultation, your current method of sick leave accrual, or your safeguards against outsourcing.

as soon as possible so we can ensure you get to have your say. In order to maintain the integrity of the survey, do not forward your link.
