Vote ‘No’ to Apple’s dodgy Agreement

Recently, hundreds of Apple employees came together as ASU members to vote ‘No’ to Apple’s substandard National Enterprise Agreement (NEA).

Management’s substandard and unfinished NEA is being rushed through without the agreement of the ASU or other bargaining representatives.

ASU members have been clear throughout bargaining: we want respect at work and a fair and reasonable NEA.

That’s why ASU members have resolved to vote ‘No’ to the NEA when voting opens on 27 September.

If a majority of Apple employees vote ‘No’ to the NEA, we can continue negotiating for fair and reasonable changes to the NEA including:

  • Guaranteed pay increases.
  • Fair rostering for work/life balance.
  • Classifications that reflect the actual work that we do.
  • Overtime and penalty rates to reward us for working long hours on nights, weekends and public holidays.

How can we get a better deal from Apple?

By working together as ASU members, we are stronger. We can bargain for an NEA that Apple employees deserve.

To get a better deal from Apple, ask five co-workers at Apple to join the ASU and to vote ‘no’ to the NEA.
