Reminder: Mount Isa City Council protected action ballot closes today!

Please be reminded that The Services Union’s ballot to support Protected Industrial Action at Mount Isa City Council closes at 5pm today (Thursday 13 July).

Your Services Union colleagues across Queensland are standing up for better pay during these unprecedented economic circumstances. Now is the time to do likewise at Mount Isa City Council.

Voting to support Protected Industrial Action gives us another tool for working towards a reasonable pay increase so that the value of your wages is not further eroded by the current cost of living. Any action will only be taken in consultation with the members taking the action.

We have sent all members a reminder email with a link to the online ballot. If you have not received this email, please contact us immediately via [email protected] to enable you to vote before 5pm today.

Members – and only members – will decide on our next steps in securing a better deal. If anyone in your work group is not yet a member and wants to support a better deal, they can join here.
