Queensland Rail Enterprise Bargaining (EA) 2023 Update

Our Union’s EA bargaining campaign 2023 set goals to strengthen your working conditions and gain wage increases which will help you navigate this high cost of living environment. Now all the EAs are agreed to in principle the task of drafting all six EAs is underway.

Once drafting is completed, staff presentations outlining the changes in each EA will occur and The Services Union will be ensuring you receive a clear explanation of all of the terms of the new EA relevant to your employment. You will receive a copy of your EA to enable you to carefully consider the terms before voting on the new EA. The Fair Work Commission will then be asked to approve the agreement.

These processes take time, and The Services Union is committed to getting these tasks completed quickly so the benefits flow to members including the guaranteed back pay to 1 March 2023. It is possible that all of this can be achieved before the end of the year. We will keep you advised of the progress.

The Services Union is by your side as we deliver improved working conditions and wages, while supporting members!
