JUST ANNOUNCED: Union members win increase to indexation to 5.07%

Together, members working in the community and disability sector campaigned for an increase to indexation to fund the wage increase and increase to superannuation that was handed down on the 1st July 2022.

And today, we won!

We welcome the announcement of the Queensland Government to increase the 2022-23 indexation rate from 2.88% to 5.07%. Frontline workers in the community sector have carried Queensland through the pandemic and supported communities in responding to natural disasters. You deserve to be valued for the work you do. Today’s decision shows there is power in joining together and demanding our wages and funding keep up.

TSU members should be proud for campaigning, winning a pay rise and an increase to indexation funding to support the award, and superannuation increases handed down from 1 July 2022 – thank you for your support.
