BREAKING NEWS: TSU members have SAVED funding for Homelessness services!

This morning, the Federal Government have announced a $67.5m funding boost to Housing and Homelessness funding after a successful campaign by TSU members.

This is a huge win by TSU members.

For months, TSU members and supporters together with Homelessness Australia have been campaigning to make sure the Federal Government commits to pay their share of housing and homelessness funding.

Today, we won.

Without this funding hundreds of workers in frontline homelessness services were on the line – making it harder for women and children fleeing family and domestic violence to get the support they need.

TSU members acted immediately, including frontline housing and homelessness workers who went to Canberra to let our government know the crisis housing and homelessness services are already facing.

Each person who took action to Save Homelessness Services made this happen. Congratulations!

Our success shows that when we join together to make change we can win. To continue to improve our sector and our conditions at work, we need to grow our movement. If you aren't a union member, join today.
