Fixing your pay at Moreton Bay 

The Services Union has applied to the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC) for assistance in making a new Certified Agreement (CA) with Moreton Bay Regional Council. Following yesterday’s Australian Bureau of Statistics announcement that the underlying rate of inflation is now at 6.1%, clearly the Council needs to get a grip on the current economic climate.

We have been telling the Council for months that you deserve a pay increase which meaningfully addresses the cost of living and recognises the productivity you have delivered for your Council and community over the life of the current CA. Now it’s time to tell the QIRC and make it happen.
