City of Gold Coast: Consultation closes tomorrow!

As your ally in the workplace at City of Gold Coast, The Services Union understands that workplace change can be challenging. The consultation period for the Council’s proposed Organisational Structure Review closes tomorrow (Wednesday 12 July), and we’re by your side to ensure that any concerns are addressed.

The Council has provided assurances that for most staff there will be no significant effects. The CEO stated in his update last month that:

“I would like to reiterate that from 1 November, for the vast majority of the City’s workforce, your day-to-day role will not have changed but you may have a reporting line change.”

However, we know that things don’t always go to plan when it comes to workplace change. That’s why if you have any concerns at all that the proposed changes may have any significant effects on your role or prospects within the Council, you should advise us as soon as possible by calling Services Connect on 3844 5300.
