Brisbane City Council – Get ready to bargain!

Members of The Services Union at Brisbane City Council know that Brisbane is a big place.

In fact, it’s one of the world’s biggest local authorities, and the work you perform to keep the city running should not be underestimated. Members also know that as your ally in the workplace, we’re always by your side to ensure you get the pay and conditions you deserve.

Now is the time for our Union to start consolidating our bargaining position in the lead-up to negotiating your new EBA. Your prompt attention and input into your Log of Claims will help to build upon your current conditions, against the backdrop of what is shaping up to be a very challenging economic climate.

All members should by now have received an email with a link to our Log of Claims survey to let your Bargaining Committee know what’s important to you. If you have not yet received your link, please advise as soon as possible by emailing us, in order to be able to participate in the survey by close of business on Friday 12 August. Only members will shape our approach to your new EBA, so if you work with someone who is not yet contributing to a better outcome, remind them that joining is quick, easy and confidential online.
