The Services Union Wants No CPL Employee Left Behind

Social & Communities March 8, 2019

The Services Union has been working with CPL and Union members at CPL to make sure everyone is aware of the current reclassification. This newsletter contains some important information you may have missed!

Reclassification

Through discussions with our union CPL agreed to reclassify staff who until now have been paid at Level 1 of the Award with back pay to July 2018. This process was to commence in the 12 December 2018 pay run. Our Union has requested an update on the reclassification progress.

To ensure no member is left behind in the reclassification process, we are asking CPL employees to register their details with us by completing our registration form.

It’s important you register as a reclassification form level 1 to 2 will mean an increase in your take home pay. For long term staff, this will result in a significant increase, in some cases of more than $200 before tax.  Don’t miss this opportunity register your details with our union.

Your Union Organiser, Darci Wanamaker, will be visiting CPL worksites over the next two weeks. If you are unable to attend and wish to schedule an off-site meeting, contact Darci at the details below.

Share this information so that your workmates know about this and can register too!
